How do I measure my horse for the correct turnout blanket size?

Measure your horse from the center of the chest, along the shoulder and side, to the point of the hip. This measurement in inches equals your blanket size. Round down to the nearest available size. The expandable front leg section accommodates slight variation.

Is this turnout blanket waterproof and breathable?

Yes. The 1200 Denier polyester outer shell with rip-stop weave is fully waterproof and sheds rain and snow. The Persian twisted taffeta lining is breathable, allowing air circulation to prevent sweat buildup during variable winter weather.

Can I attach a neck cover or hood to this blanket?

Yes. The turnout blanket includes shoulder dees on both sides for easy attachment of a hood or neck cover. Removable elastic leg straps and the belly wrap system keep the blanket secure during active pasture turnout.

How durable is this winter blanket?

Built for daily barn use and multiple winters. Features double-stitched, taped, and reinforced seams at stress points, fleece withers protection, insulated tail flaps, and a sturdy taffeta lining. Trusted by riders across 48 states for reliable cold-weather performance.
