Shipping & Delivery

We offer combined shipping to help you save on costs. If you purchase multiple items at the same time, the shipping cost is calculated as follows:

Total Shipping Cost = The highest shipping cost among all items + half the cost of the other items.

  • Shipping Times: Orders paid for via PayPal or credit card are shipped within 3-5 Business Days (weekends and holidays are excluded). Payments made by check will be shipped only after the check clears, which normally takes about 10 business days. For faster service, we recommend paying with a credit card or PayPal.

  • Domestic Shipments: Items are shipped via UPS and normally take between 5-7 business days for delivery within the 48 continental states. All US shipments include a tracking number, which is emailed to you once your order is ready to ship. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this notification.

  • Insurance: Insurance is provided at the buyer's choice and is charged separately.

  • Local Pickup: You may pick up your order from our Texas location. We do not accept third-party courier services for pickup.

     

    International Shipping Policy

    We are proud to serve the global equestrian community and offer worldwide shipping. Our primary carrier for international deliveries is UPS; however, we reserve the right to select alternative couriers based on real-time availability and the most competitive pricing options at the time of dispatch to ensure you get the best service possible.

    Shipping Costs & Estimates

    Please note that shipping totals provided at checkout are estimates only. Because we only charge for the actual costs we incur, the final rate may vary based on:

    • Carrier Rates: Current pricing from UPS or other selected couriers.

    • Package Metrics: The exact final weight and dimensions of your shipment.

    • Logistics: Fluctuating fuel and transport costs at the time of shipment.

    Important: If the actual shipping cost exceeds the amount paid at checkout, your order will be held until the remaining balance is settled.

    Customs, Duties, and Taxes

    Any additional charges—including customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or local government fees—are not included in your order total. These are not fees from Hilason; they are the sole responsibility of the customer and are typically collected by the carrier upon delivery.

    What carrier do you use for international shipping? Our primary international carrier is UPS. However, we continuously monitor rates and availability; if a more efficient or cost-effective reliable courier is available at the time of your shipment, we may select them to ensure the best service.

    Why did my shipping cost change after checkout? Shipping totals at checkout are estimates. The final cost is determined by the exact weight, box dimensions, and current carrier rates at the moment of dispatch. If there is a balance due to cover the actual shipping cost, we will hold the order and notify you to settle the difference.

    Will I have to pay import fees or duties? Yes. Any customs duties, taxes, or brokerage fees are determined by your local government and are not included in your Hilason order total. These fees are the customer's responsibility and are typically collected by the driver upon delivery.

    How long will it take to receive my order? Delivery times vary by country and customs processing. Once your order is dispatched via UPS (or our selected carrier), you will receive a tracking number to monitor its progress.
