Weaver Leather Nylon Rope Gag Bridle

Achieve professional-level results in your training program with the Weaver Leather Gag Bridle with Snaffle Sliding Bit. This setup is a staple for trainers and performance riders who need to soften a horse that has become heavy in the bridle or stiff through the neck and poll. Unlike standard stainless steel bits, the smooth sweet iron mouthpiece on this sliding bit is designed to react with moisture in the horse's mouth. This process creates a flavor horses love, encouraging them to play with the bit and remain relaxed. The smooth snaffle design offers a mild to moderate signal, making it ideal for transitioning horses into more advanced maneuvers.

The combination of heavy-duty 3/8" nylon rope and stainless steel sliding cheeks ensures that your cues are delivered without hesitation. The gag action lifts the bit in the mouth while simultaneously applying gentle pressure to the poll, signaling the horse to break at the neck and round their frame. From the detailed stitching on the burgundy latigo leather ear loop to the robust rein rings, every inch of this bridle reflects Weaver Leather’s commitment to quality. It is a durable, low-maintenance, and highly effective addition to any tack room, perfect for barrel racing, reining, or daily foundational training.
