Weaver Leather Nylon Rope Gag Bridle

Refine your horse's performance with the Weaver Leather Gag Bridle, a professional-grade training aid designed for riders who demand precision. Whether you are starting a young horse or tuning up a seasoned athlete, this rope gag bridle is engineered to improve responsiveness and soften the poll. The heart of this bridle is the stainless steel sliding bit. As you apply rein pressure, the bit slides up the rope, providing unique leverage that encourages the horse to tuck their nose and lift their back. The 5" sweet iron mouthpiece naturally oxidizes over time, creating a sweet taste that promotes a "wet," responsive mouth.

Weaver Leather combines rugged utility with premium aesthetics. The burgundy latigo leather ear loop is not only visually striking with its detailed stitching but is also pre-conditioned to be soft against your horse's skin. The heavy-duty 3/8" nylon rope ensures longevity and a smooth "run" through the bit cheeks, preventing the jerkiness found in lower-quality training bridles. With its 3-1/2" cheeks and included rein rings, this bridle is ready to use right out of the box. It provides the necessary "slow pull" that helps a horse understand what is being asked of them, making it an essential tool for barrel racers, ropers, and performance horse trainers.
