Frequently Asked Questions

What is this western flank cinch made from?

This Hilason flank cinch is crafted from Argentinian skirting leather with leather lining on the inside. The hardware is stainless steel, which resists rust and corrosion through outdoor use and weather exposure.

What is the connector strap for on this flank cinch?

The center connector strap runs down the middle of the cinch and connects to the buckle system, stabilizing your saddle position during rides. This design reduces saddle shift during trail riding, ranch work, or any demanding riding situation.

What size is this western flank cinch?

This flank cinch measures 5 inches and is designed to fit standard western saddles. It is available in Tan and Chocolate colors. For specific fit guidance, measure your saddle's flank cinch attachment points.

Is this a good flank cinch for trail riding?

Yes. The Argentinian leather construction, stainless steel hardware, and connector strap design make this cinch ideal for trail riding, ranch work, and everyday western riding. The durable leather absorbs sweat and the secure fit keeps your saddle stable.

How do I care for the leather on this flank cinch?

Wipe the cinch clean after rides with a damp cloth to remove sweat and dirt. Condition the leather every few months with quality leather conditioner to maintain suppleness. The stainless steel hardware requires no special care and will not rust.

Why choose a real leather cinch over synthetic?

Leather cinches absorb sweat better than synthetic, breathe in warm weather, and become more comfortable with use. Argentinian skirting leather is specifically selected for durability and feel. This Hilason cinch delivers that quality benefit at a fair price.
