Frequently Asked Questions
Is this saddle pad made of real wool?
Yes, the bottom layer is 100% virgin wool fleece, which provides natural moisture wicking, breathability, and shock absorption for your horse.
How does the shim work to fix saddle fit?
The wedge-shaped closed-cell foam shim slides forward for less correction or backward for more correction, counteracting a downhill saddle tilt caused by wither atrophy or conformation issues.
What size is this pad and will it fit my saddle?
This pad measures 31x32 inches, a standard size that fits most Western saddles and many English saddles. Check your saddle's length and width requirements before ordering.
Can this pad be used for trail riding?
Yes, the wool fleece bottom and orthopedic center provide comfort and stability for trail riding, arena work, and even competition, making it versatile for daily use.
How do I clean the wool fleece pad?
Hand wash with mild soap and cold water, then air dry flat. Avoid machine washing and drying to preserve the wool's natural properties and the shim's shape.
