Frequently Asked Questions
What size strap does a 1 inch roller buckle fit?
Measure the strap, belt or webbing where the buckle will sit. This metal roller buckle is built for strap material matching the 1 inch size listed. If your strap measures wider or narrower, choose a different size so the buckle sits flat and the roller turns freely without pinching.
Is this roller buckle nickel plated?
Yes. This Hilason metal roller buckle is made from metal and finished with nickel plating, which gives it a bright silver tone. The plating helps the buckle stand up to regular handling on belts, harnesses, luggage straps and backpacks, and it keeps the finish looking clean in the tack room or barn.
What can I use a metal roller buckle for?
Roller buckles suit belt making, harness repair, luggage belts, backpack straps and clothing projects. Riders and crafters also keep spares in the tack room for quick repairs to stable equipment. The rolling bar lets strap material pass through with less friction than a fixed buckle, which makes tightening and releasing easier.
Are these buckles sold in sets?
Yes. This strap buckle is available in Set Of 2, Set Of 4, Set Of 8 and Set Of 16 so you can match the quantity to the job. A smaller set covers one or two repairs, while larger sets suit belt makers, harness repair work and barns that want spare metal roller buckles on hand.
