Frequently Asked Questions
What material is this English saddle pad made from?
This English saddle pad is crafted from high-quality vented PVC mesh. The perforated design allows constant airflow, preventing heat and moisture buildup under your saddle.
Can I use this PVC saddle pad with any English saddle?
Yes, this Hilason English saddle pad is designed to fit standard English saddles across all disciplines including jumping, dressage, and trail riding.
How do I measure for an English saddle pad?
Measure your saddle pad from the saddle's wither point (top of shoulder blade area) straight down the horse's back to just above the hindquarters. English pads are typically sized in inches (such as 22 inches). Always match your pad size to your specific English saddle for proper fit.
How do I clean and care for this PVC saddle pad?
Simply wipe the pad with a damp cloth and mild soap. The vented PVC material air dries quickly and resists cracking or deterioration. Avoid harsh chemicals or machine washing.
Is this saddle pad good for horses that sweat heavily?
Yes, the vented mesh design makes this saddle pad ideal for horses that sweat heavily. The perforated construction allows sweat to evaporate and prevents moisture from trapping heat under the saddle.
