It also includes a padded noseband and crownpiece plus rust-resistant hardware, making it a comfortable and economical nylon horse halter for everyday handling, leading and training.

What sizes and colors does this nylon horse halter come in?

This HILASON halter is available in X-Small, Small, Medium and Large. Color options include Black, Brown, Lime Green, Navy Blue, Orange, Pink, Royal Blue, Red, Turquoise and Wine. Select the size and color you want from the options on the product page before adding the halter to your cart.

Does the padding on this horse halter prevent rubbing?

The padded noseband and crownpiece are designed to reduce the risk of chafing or discomfort, with strategic padding at key pressure points. Adjustable straps also help you set a snug but non-restrictive fit. Proper sizing is still important, so check the fit on your horse and adjust the straps as needed.

How do I clean a nylon horse halter?

This halter is simple to clean and maintain. For routine care, brush off dirt, then wipe the nylon with a damp cloth and mild soap, rinse and let it air dry. Wipe the hardware dry to help keep it looking sharp. Exact care instructions vary, so check product details for guidance.

Can I use this halter for trailering and training?

Yes. The flexible design allows natural head movement, and the padded noseband and crownpiece add comfort during leading, training, grazing and transportation. It works well as an everyday western safety halter for the barn and trailer. Always supervise your horse and follow good safety practices when handling or tying.

How do I choose the right size halter for my horse?

Pick from X-Small, Small, Medium or Large based on your horse's head size, then use the adjustable straps to fine-tune the fit so it is snug but not restrictive. Exact measurements vary by size, so check product details for specifications. If you are between sizes, compare against a halter your horse already wears.
