This flexibility reduces pressure points, promotes natural movement, and accommodates horses with high withers, wide shoulders, or unusual conformation that traditional saddles cannot fit properly.

Is this Hilason treeless saddle good for trail riding?

Yes. The treeless design is ideal for trail riding, ranch work, and endurance. It distributes weight evenly and allows horses to engage their back muscles more effectively, reducing fatigue and soreness during long trail rides.

What size horse does this saddle fit?

This saddle fits horses with a 6 to 8 inch gullet size. The treeless, flexible design also adapts to a wide range of back shapes and sizes, making it suitable for horses with challenging conformation.

Is this Hilason saddle handmade?

Yes. All Hilason saddles are hand-made one at a time using full grain harness leather. This saddle features hand-tooled basketweave detailing in a rich chocolate color, delivering professional craftsmanship quality at accessible pricing without premium markup.

The Hilason treeless western saddle includes a matching front cinch strap. The saddle features anti-slip stirrups, a 5-inch deep cantle, black rough out seat, and weighs approximately 21 lbs.
