How long is this horse lead rope?

The Hilason lead rope is a standard 8 feet long. That length gives ample reach for leading, tying, lunging and ground driving, and it is also suitable for leading a horse while walking or riding. It works well as an all-around training rope for daily barn and arena use.

Can I use this lead rope for lunging and groundwork?

Yes. This poly lead rope is suitable for lunging, ground driving and groundwork exercises such as desensitization, yielding and backing. The lightweight polypropylene body is comfortable to grip, and the 8 ft length gives you enough reach to work your horse on the ground with control.

Is this lead rope weather resistant?

Yes, the rope resists moisture and UV rays, so it is suitable for outdoor arenas, trailer tie-ups and changing weather. It is designed for outdoor environments, though like any horse tack it lasts longer when you rinse off mud and hang it to dry between uses.

This horse lead rope comes in a black and purple braided pattern with a snap clip at the end. The two-tone design is easy to spot in the tack room, on the trailer or at the rail, and it adds a touch of personal style to your everyday barn gear.
