This relief encourages softening in the mouth and a more responsive horse that listens better to your training cues.
Is the BAR H EQUINE western training bit rust resistant?
Yes. The stainless steel shanks and curb chain are anti-rust and corrosion-resistant, ensuring durability through daily barn use, outdoor riding, and various weather conditions. The smooth surface is also easy to clean and maintain.
What disciplines is this western training bit suitable for?
This western training bit is ideal for western pleasure riding, flat work, training, hacking, and general horse handling. The balanced pressure distribution and tongue relief design make it versatile for various riding situations and disciplines.
What are the dimensions of this horse bit?
The mouthpiece is 5 inches wide and the shank length is 5 1/4 inches. Proper bit fit varies by horse mouth size and conformation. Most bits fit horses with standard mouth widths; if your horse requires a different size, contact us for sizing assistance.
Will this bit work for my horse with a sensitive mouth?
The rubber donut mouthpiece and twisted wire center are specifically designed to provide softer communication and tongue relief. The short shank distributes pressure evenly, making this bit suitable for horses sensitive to harsh pressure or those with large tongues.
