Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Hilason dog bite suit jacket made from?

The Hilason dog bite suit jacket is made from specially manufactured French linen, chosen to withstand dog bites during training. It also has multi-layer padding through the body and sleeves plus reinforced stitching, so the jacket stays durable through repeated police dog training and protection dog sessions.

Can this dog bite suit jacket be used for police dog training?

Yes. This dog bite suit jacket is designed for police and protection dog training, and for maintaining trained dogs of all breeds. The padded French linen construction gives handlers bite protection while still allowing the mobility needed for K9 drills, decoy work, and ongoing skill upkeep.

What size person does this bite suit jacket fit?

This jacket is designed to fit individuals from 5 ft 8 in to 6 ft 4 in tall, which makes it a versatile option for trainers who share equipment. For exact chest and sleeve measurements, check the product details or contact the store before ordering if you are at the edge of that range.

Is the Hilason dog bite suit jacket comfortable to wear?

The jacket uses multi-layer padding through the quilted body and sleeves, which keeps it flexible while you train. A black lining sits against the wearer, and a three-strap front closure lets you secure it quickly. That combination helps trainers stay mobile and comfortable during longer K9 training sessions.

How do I clean a dog bite suit jacket?

Clean the dog bite suit jacket with mild soap and water, and avoid harsh chemicals so the French linen and padding keep their durability. Let it dry fully before storing it. Regular cleaning after training sessions helps the protection jacket last longer through repeated, rigorous use.
